Genesis, Chapter 7

This chapter is too lengthy to reproduce here, but I recommend you read it in its entirety. It is the account of the animals on the ark during the flood. There are some things that we have already covered, so I will not revisit them here. It is just a good foundational portion of scripture to see God’s providence and care for His creatures.

I did want to share two questions with you, though, that most people never ask. There is no point in my mentioning them except to shine the spotlight once again on God’s love and care for His creatures. The questions are:

How did two of all the animals from all over the earth arrive at where Noah had built the ark? Some had to cross oceans, some had to endure climates that they were not suited for, and so forth. How did they do it?

Similarly, after the flood, how did the animals get dispersed back to the regions where they are now exclusively found?
